1. The eggPDF service
eggPDF provides browser-based tools for working with PDF and image files. Document processing is designed to happen locally in your browser. The website, account sign-in and billing still use internet services, but eggPDF does not require your PDF contents to be uploaded for normal tool processing.
2. Free tools and Pro accounts
Free tools can be used without an account unless a specific feature says otherwise. A Pro account is used to identify you and restore paid access across supported browsers or devices. An eggPDF account is not a document storage account, and processed PDFs are not stored in the account.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe on the billing period shown at checkout. Recurring subscriptions continue until cancelled. You can manage an active subscription through the available billing controls. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Refunds are provided when required by applicable law or when eggPDF explicitly states otherwise. Stripe processes payment and billing information under its own terms and privacy practices.
4. Acceptable use
You may use eggPDF only for lawful purposes and only with files and content you are allowed to process. You must not abuse the service, attempt to disrupt or overload it, bypass security controls, interfere with other users, or use eggPDF to violate the rights of another person or organization.
5. Your files and intellectual property
You keep your rights in the files and content you process. eggPDF does not claim ownership of your documents or generated output. The eggPDF website, software, branding and original product materials remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
6. Availability and product changes
eggPDF may improve, replace, restrict or discontinue features when necessary. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Free features may change, and Pro features or limits may evolve as the product develops.
7. Verify important output
PDF processing can be affected by unusual files, encryption, fonts, browser limitations or third-party software. You are responsible for reviewing important output before relying on it, especially for legal, financial, compliance, archival or official documents. eggPDF does not provide legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, eggPDF is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses resulting from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy page explains the local-processing architecture and the limited account and billing data used for Pro access. Local PDF processing is a core product principle, not a paid privacy feature.
10. Changes to these Terms and contact
