pdf-lib processes the selected PDF data in browser memory. There is no eggPDF PDF-processing API.

The new PDF or ZIP is generated locally and downloaded back to your device.
Privacy FAQ
Do you upload my PDFs?
No. The merge and split tools read and process the PDF files in your browser. The PDF contents are not sent to eggPDF servers.
Does eggPDF use a server at all?
The website itself is delivered over the web, but the core PDF operations do not rely on a server-side PDF processor.
What about password-protected PDFs?
eggPDF currently blocks encrypted or password-protected PDFs instead of pretending they can be processed safely.
